About Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor

Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor exhibits contemporary and traditional fine arts by local and visiting artists. We are a not-for-profit registered charity that strives to bring arts and culture programming to the community. Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor presents year-round exhibitions and events, as well as a membership program, and is located in the heart of Vankleek Hill, Ontario.

Our Objectives

To maintain and operate an art gallery
To promote interest in traditional and contemporary art
To provide facilities for education and instruction in the visual arts
To provide arts programming, activities and opportunities for local children and youth
To advance knowledge and appreciation of visual art culture and contemporary practice through lectures, special exhibitions and other events

Our Mission

The Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor is chartered as a non-profit charitable organization. The vision of Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor is to serve as a community based centre where artistic expression and appreciation is lively and recognized as a core social and economic asset.
The Mission of Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor is to generate opportunities to reflect, nurture and challenge the diversity of artistic expression and appreciation in Champlain Township and the surrounding region.

Arbor Gallery – Galerie Arbor shall operate exclusively for the purpose of:

Establishing and maintaining an art gallery and centre for performing arts and other cultural activities.
Establishing and managing art programs, performances and related educational and instructional events.
Collaborating with schools, libraries, museums and other community agencies to promote local interest in and access to the arts.
Offering other complementary and fundraising activities that are consistent with and supportive of these objectives.
