Arbor Gallery invites you to attend the naming ceremony for the new main exhibition space, the Pemberton Smith Room, so called in honour of the renowned artist Freda Pemberton Smith who lived for many years in Vankleek Hill. The artist’s niece, Harriet Pemberton Smith, will be on hand to talk about her aunt’s achievements and distinctive style. View artworks in various mediums by Freda Pemberton Smith and learn more about this important figure in Canadian art history while discovering which local artists are currently exhibiting in the Pemberton Smith Room! Light refreshments will be served.
