The Arbor Gallery’s Masquerade gala fundraiser took place on Saturday, September 14, at the Vankleek Hill Vineyard, and what a memorable occasion! We celebrated our 30th anniversary in style with hand-decorated masks (and a mask contest!), tabletop art games, and a silent auction. Delicious food – and, of course, wine! – were provided by Scott and Teresa of the Vineyard. Our deepest thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, and to the bidders and donors of the very successful silent auction! Many local artists and artisans, businesses and community members supported us by providing items, including:
Frances Beks-Riopel
Sylvie Bouchard & Martin Walker
Stephanie Pete / Art and Dream Studio
Samme Putzel
The Broken Kettle Bakery and Barkery
Fleuriste Alexandria Flowers Attic Treasures and Flowers
& Our Anonymous Donors
A very special thank you to Louise Sproule of RE/MAX Delta Realty who generously pledged to match silent auction bids up to $2500! We are very pleased to say that we raised $5675 to go towards our outreach activities. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped produce this event, and the Vankleek Hill Vineyard for providing such an elegant setting for our festivities. Here’s to many more years of promoting art and culture in our community!
