Susie Fairbrother
Susie grew up in Montreal, Quebec, where her large and creative family were tremendous influences. Throughout the late 70s, 80s, and 90s, she worked as a stained glass artisan and a small stage backdrop artist. In the early 2000s, Susie found herself doing wall murals and special art projects as an art instructor for the Montreal English School Board. In 2002, she began painting full time, with the crow as her storyteller. She has exhibited ever since and has collectors worldwide. Susie moved to Vankleek Hill in 2017, where she continues to be inspired and supported by the landscape and community. For every painting sold Susie plants a tree.
