Cherie Harte is a multidisciplinary artist following in the tradition of Art Brut. Cherie is inspired by transformation and social and environmental stewardship. Through the use of unwanted textiles, fibres, and found objects, her work acts as a metaphor for life, healing, and our undeniable interconnectedness. 

Unapologetically flawed, Cherie’s work invites the viewer to acknowledge and honour all that is imperfectly beautiful, discarded, abused, abandoned, worthless, marginalized, and judged. Cherie’s work is held in collections throughout Canada, USA, England, Australia, Korea, China, and Japan.
