Blanche Renard, locally known as Samme Putzel, lives outside of Vankleek Hill, Ontario with her partner, Phil Arber, on an organic farm populated by sheep, horses, and many assorted farm animals.
Before settling in Eastern Ontario, Blanche studied art in Europe and during her university years.  As an artist, she has shown pieces in group shows exclusively at the Arbor Gallery for the past fifteen years.  She works in various media, primarily pen and ink, coloured pencil and acrylic.  The works featured on this website are examples of recent studies of horses.  Notecards in packages of six are also available for sale.
